Christmas Eve at Freshwater

Please join us on Christmas Eve as we celebrate the birth of our Savior with two family services on Tuesday, December 24 – at 3:30pm and 5pm.
What to Expect
Like every other service at Freshwater, you are encouraged to "come as you are" on Christmas Eve – there is no dress code. If you enjoy dressing up that night, please do so, and if you want to come in jeans, you're welcome to do that too! Our Christmas Eve services tend to last about an hour, with a time of worship and praise followed by a message. Plan to arrive a little early for the 3:30 and 5pm services to share in some fellowship and hot chocolate.
Childcare
No childcare will be provided for either service on Christmas Eve, so please plan on having your children in service with you. We will be passing out activity bags for the kiddos to enjoy during service!
Online Service
If you will be joining us online, please note that livestreaming will be available during the 3:30 service ONLY. You can find our livestream here.
Sunday, December 29
We will gather at our usual times of 8:45 and 10:30am on Sunday, December 29. Childcare will be available that day in our nursery/toddler room and the preschool/kindergarten classroom ONLY, so please plan on having children in 1st-6th grade in service with you.
Holiday Schedule and Year-End Giving Deadlines
The church office will close at 11am on Monday, December 23, and apart from services at 8:45 and 10:30am on Sunday, December 29, the church will be closed from Christmas Day until Sunday, January 5. All church activities and meetings will be canceled during that time.
Services on Sunday, January 5 will be held at the usual times of 8:45 and 10:30am. Reality 139 will also be happening for our teens from 5:30-7:30pm on January 5. The office and all other regular church activities will reopen on Monday, January 6 at 9am.
If you're planning on making a year-end donation that will count toward the 2024 tax year, please be aware of the following deadlines:
• Mailed donations must be postmarked by December 31
• Online donations must be made by midnight on December 31
• In-person donations will need to be handed in by the end of the 10:30am service on Sunday, December 29.
Please note: All donations made after these deadlines will count toward the 2025 tax year.
