Senior Pastor
Freshwater Community Church in Wadsworth, Ohio is actively looking for a new lead pastor. Primary responsibilities of the position will be Preaching and Spiritual Leadership in the areas of Leader Development, Evangelism/Missions and Corporate Prayer. We are seeking a pastor with three or more years of preaching experience who passionately communicates the gospel, exalts Christ and desires the outpouring of the Holy Spirit’s power to bring transformation leading to worship. We seek a humble, Spirit-led, authentic and relational lead pastor who can work collaboratively with experienced ministry staff and leaders to execute the church’s mission. A candidate already licensed with the C&MA is preferred; but all candidates must be willing and able to meet licensing and ordination requirements with the C&MA. Freshwater Community Church is a multi-staff church with a current weekly in-person attendance of 400 and approximately 700 regular attenders. Wadsworth, Ohio is a suburban community of 24,000 that is 40 miles south of Cleveland and 20 miles west of Akron. The city has an inviting downtown area, strong sense of community and a highly rated school system.
