Witnessing practice: Begin with Love
In a post-Christian culture, the idea of “sharing the gospel” seems intimidating — even offensive. But the Spirit in us seeks to draw near those who are far from God; and we embody his heart by inviting people to our table, listening deeply, and testifying simply to the good news of Jesus.
Watch: “Begin with Love”
To be a witness is simply to tell others what we’ve seen, heard, and know to be true — through our words and our way of life. In this Practicing the Way video, we’ll explore how, as apprentices of Jesus, our motivation to be a witness in a pluralistic, post-Christian culture must be loving compassion for others.

Witnessing Exercise
Click the orange button below to download the exercise guide. This week, you will start by identifying three to five people you care about who are not followers of Jesus and begin praying for them daily. Then, follow the instructions on the exercise guide.
