Welcome Home the Wanderer

September 19, 6:00 pm - December 12

590 Hartman Road, Wadsworth, OH, USA

“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him.” (Luke 15:20)

The Prodigal Son is one of the best-known parables in Scripture. Through the abiding love of a father who waits for his wandering son to return, we see a picture of our Heavenly Father’s love for us, and the forgiveness and reconciliation that is available through Christ. We also see a reason for hope, not just for those who long to find their way back home, but also for those waiting for a wanderer to finally return.

Welcome Home the Wanderer is a group that will meet for 12 weeks with a simple goal: to learn how the Lord desires to work in our lives – through Scripture study, prayer support and a sharing of our experiences – as we wait for a wanderer in our family.

Who is the group for?

Parents, grandparents and anyone else who is waiting are encouraged, but not required, to share openly and honestly for the emotional and spiritual benefit of others in the group.

When?

Join us starting Thursday, September 19 from 6-8pm. There is no cost to attend but registration is required.

Note: If you plan on attending as a couple, each person MUST register individually to ensure we have enough course materials for every attendee.
