BRIEFLY DESCRIBE YOUR ROLE AND DUTIES AT FRESHWATER:
I am the Youth Ministry Assistant here at Freshwater, which means I get to assist Len with everything involving the Youth Ministry! I love that I get to work with our teens and be a part of what God is doing here in Wadsworth.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAMILY:
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Justin for three and a half years. We enjoy playing board games together, walking our dog Yadi, and going to baseball games! We are expecting our first baby in July and are excited to see our family grow!
WHAT IS YOUR IDEA OF A PERFECT DAY OFF?
If it’s sunny, I take a long walk and spend the afternoon on my hammock reading a book. If it’s rainy, I am inside drinking hot chocolate and listening to classical music while I work on a project.
MOST USED EMOJI ON YOUR PHONE? 😂
OU HAVE YOUR OWN LATE NIGHT TALK SHOW. WHO DO YOU INVITE AS YOUR FIRST GUEST
Bob Dylan – as long as he brings his harmonica to play for me!
WHAT WAS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE FOOD AS A CHILD? DO YOU EAT IT AS AN ADULT?
Broccoli. Absolutely not.
WHAT IS A BOOK THAT YOU’VE READ LATELY THAT HAS IMPACTED YOUR LIFE?
I recently read the book, The Way of Grace, by Glandion Carney. It is a raw account of his battle with Parkinson’s disease and the numerous ways he has encountered God’s grace in the midst of his struggle. It was compelling and inspiring to me and has really stuck with me since I read it.
IF YOU COULD ELIMINATE ONE THING FROM YOUR DAILY ROUTINE, WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
I would love to never have to rely on the clocks – I want to go about my day just working on things and never having to worry about getting somewhere by a certain time or worrying about how much time I have left before I should move on to the next thing.
